Welcome to GuruGen Grants. By applying for and receiving a grant from GuruGen, you agree to these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

2. Professional Disclaimer

GuruGen is not a professional organization, and the services provided are not professional services. While we strive to provide valuable resources and support, we make no representations or warranties about the completeness, reliability, or accuracy of the information, products, services, or related graphics contained in our program. Any reliance you place on such information is strictly at your own risk.

Our mentors and advisors are volunteers and may not be certified professionals in their respective fields. The advice and guidance provided should not be considered as professional advice. For professional advice, please consult with qualified professionals in the relevant fields.

GuruGen's primary mission is to give students a push start in their building journey. We are a community-driven initiative focused on helping students take their first steps in building and launching their ideas. While we provide resources and support, we are not a professional accelerator or incubator program. Our goal is simply to help students get started and learn through the process of building.

3. Eligibility

• You must be a currently enrolled student or recent graduate (within 2 years)
• You must not be a working professional or employed full-time
• You must have a valid educational institution email address
• Your project must be original and not violate any intellectual property rights
• You must be able to demonstrate technical capability to execute your project

Note: This program is specifically designed for students and recent graduates who are not yet working professionals. If you are currently employed full-time or have significant professional experience, you are not eligible for this program. We aim to support those who are still in their educational journey or have just started their career path.

4. Grant Usage

Grants provided by GuruGen must be used exclusively for the project described in your application. The resources provided (including but not limited to API access, hosting, and mentorship) are non-transferable and must be used in accordance with their respective terms of service.

5. Project Requirements

• Maintain regular communication with your assigned mentor
• Provide progress updates as requested
• Complete the project within the agreed timeline
• Document your work and share learnings with the community

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your project and its intellectual property. However, GuruGen reserves the right to showcase your project in our portfolio and marketing materials.

7. Termination

GuruGen reserves the right to terminate or suspend grant benefits if:

• You violate these terms and conditions
• You misuse the provided resources
• You fail to make reasonable progress on your project
• You engage in any fraudulent or unethical behavior

8. Privacy

We collect and process your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By applying for a grant, you consent to such processing.

9. Limitation of Liability

GuruGen is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services or resources.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes via email or through our website.
